Yeah, so life is icky right now, and it's hard to focus on something like DDO.
I'll be away from the game for a bit, but, as usual, I'll be back soon enough.

Mrrr. Lots has been happening, been keeping me.. busy. And without proper internet, heavens forbid~!
I won't be on till wintertime, but I -am- coming back-

I took a little vacation too...=)

There were a few [bad reactions to new meds], but my health has actually been mostly better; I've just been caught up in a lot of personal matters, including moving (July 25th, to a _nice_ new place. I r totes excite :J ).
I also had to deal with the local Cox, most likely due to their local monopoly, being entirely unlike the Cox in Florida and Texas, and not only charging twice what they did over in those places to start with, but then upping my charges without any notice whatsover, costing me $100+, and then basically telling me to suck it when I called them on it.

So yeah, that's why I don't have proper net/haven't had net. After I'm done moving and have more energy for dealing with aggravation, I'll trying running it up the managment chain (since, as I noted, Cox is all we have out here, blah).


I did buy the collector's edition of Shadowfell, so have no doubt I'll be coming back as soon as I possibly can ^-^

*and when I come back, I'll be looking forward to seeing you all, so no running off in the meantime!

Lately I've been finding myself daydreaming about running Big Top and Wiz-King, of all things

I have the suspicion it's 'cause we ran the two a ton as a guild

Speaking of, I have this bill for emotional damages I need to present you..

i've made a few recordings of our play(Kerberosin (with his PM), Etchin (with his Monk) , Vara with his Pally and me with a new Tanky Fvs) ...yesterday. running part 3 of ES*...but its a bad quality video...i think ill have to buy a new graphics card...

Its really nice to remember things we do everyday....when playing in group!!

That sounds awesome- eventually we can make a highlight.. or blooper.. reel if you get enough recorded I'm just glad to hear everyone is still playing <3

Yes! it could be awesome ...but the recordings i've made are all tests....the dont sound fine...bad sound, also they dont have good graphics, figures are not distinguishable....i've made a lot of attempts recording me, but got nothing with a decent graphics and sound yet...Maybe i have to buy a better graphics card for my pc...or maybe someone else could make a test...like me..

Okay, I move on the 26th. I should have a rough idea of when I'll be able afford internet again in August.

Well, crud. Absolutely no other providers than Cox at my new place, and they continued in their semi-corrupt, semi-incompetent, severely overpriced theme when I contacted them, so at least for now, hell to them.
Looks like I'll have to wait for Sprint's 4G network to come down here (or AT&T to decide to move a few inches down the map, though they're overpriced as well).

Well....there's really not much to tell.

Cove just started like 2 or 3 days ago (depending on how you look at the clock) ;P

Other than that, I think there's been all of twice that we've done a guild raid run (at least that I've been present for/a part of) in the time since you've been gone. A couple of impromptu runs were the result of either Arri or Vara going in essence: "Hey we oughta run a raid!" lol

Scymarron TR'd, and dragged Zeanel kicking and screaming (ok, not really loudly mind you). And then somehow, Kerb followed suit on the TR, Vara grabbed an alt, I put a dustbuster to a bank toon of mine, and Malbek & Arri jumped in. Amazingly enough, we actually had a semi-static 'TR train'.

Although, in true VF fashion... it's a cluster (of fun). ROFL

Scy is TR3, Kerb is TR2 (IIRC), Z and Arri are TR1, and the rest *I believe* are 1st lifers. So... you can quickly imagine where this is all headed.

We've been enjoying running as a group/guild immensely, but the XP requirements for TR3/2 are starting to be very acutely felt by all, and if I may be allowed the liberty... We all think the xp disparity SUCKS! =(

Hard to run with those whose company you enjoy when there's such a HUGE xp gap between the toons. We've safely managed to navigate the hurdles longer than *I* anticipated it though, so at least that 'extension' was nice. (I figured we'd hit the xp wall around level 6-7, it had been avoided until only VERY recently @ approx. lvl 10-11 for the majority of the group)

Server population is in the tank (compared to 'normal') due to all the vets/elitists feeling the crunch of the impending DooooOOOOooooM over the coming enhancement update, and LFM's are way low. However, U19 is right around the corner with the new expansion, and the enhancement pass as well.
So I'm sure we'll have a dramatic uptick here shortly.

The devs stated that TR xp requirements would be less pronounced after the expansion. We'll see if that holds up.

I'm glad I'm missing cove, the constant lack of updated gear despite promises (Turbine keeps promises like a drunk politician, of course) to the contrary is a downer.

Well, on the plus side, my house is awesome, and I'm pursuing several ambitious goals. And you all are still keeping the fight strong! So things don't suck.

...well, things other than Cox and their attempt to keep me from adventuring fun, of course.
